Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County Commission has entered into an agreement with the Federal Highway Administration through the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) for their Congestion Mitigation Air Quality program (CMAQ).
Sheridan County applied for just over $300,000 in funding for the program, and received just under $294,000 according to County Engineer Ken Muller.
He said the county’s match portion for the funding is 20% or roughly $70,000 and that if the commission voted to approve the agreement, the county would continue the dust abatement program for another year in the spring of 2020.
Commissioners Terry Cram and Nick Siddle praised Muller and the <span class=”player fa fa-play” onclick=”playSound(this, ‘/audio/2019/12-19-42.mp3’);”> program. </span>
The commissioners approved the chairman to sign the agreement.
