Aaron PalmerDuring the recent board meeting held in Buffalo, Dr. Walter Tribley, President of the Northern Wyoming Community College District, discussed happenings at Sheridan College in Johnson County, highlighting some positive points to the board of trustees.
He talked about dual and concurrent enrollment at SCJC, and the success of the CNA program in Buffalo.
According to Tribley, the number of students enrolled in CNA courses in 2017-18 was 10; in 2018-19 it was 8; in 2019-20 it was 39; and in 2020-2021 the number was 70.
The number of sections of that CNA course went from one in the first two years to five in the last couple of years, and it has become a very important workforce program for the college, Tribley said.
