Preparing for the Future

A professional services agreement for the Sheridan Main Street Dow to Burkitt project will soon be considered by the Sheridan City Council. During the Council’s study session this week, City Engineer Hanns Mercer provided the Council with the staff recommendation of CPG Engineering of Sheridan in the amount of $82,800.

Mercer said the project includes the design of the utilities and enhancements on Main Street from Dow to Burkitt in conjunction with the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s resurfacing of Main Street in downtown that is planned for 2023. Mercer added that utilities that will be addressed in the design are storm drains, sewer services, water mains, water services, fire lines and sewer mains and that enhancements may include, but are not limited to curb bump outs, benches, and landscaping.
