A Look Back in Time: Oct. 16, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 16, 1920.

Republican voters of Sheridan county are being asked this week to sign pledges that they will vote a “straight Republican ticket.”

High school pupils and students above the sixth grade who are studying agriculture under the Smith-Hughes law provisions in Sheridan schools viewed six reels of films sent out by the Department of Agriculture at the Orpheum theater this afternoon.

Spear & Faddis of Sheridan took first prize on a load of 3-year-old Shorthorn steers in the recent St. Joseph, Missouri, Stocker and Feeder show. The load was part of a five-car shipment from Sheridan cattle dealers to the show.
