Sheridan Media wins WAB awards

Sheridan Media is the winner of eight awards this year from the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters – including the Station of the Year award, which went to KWYO.

Awards were announced late last week. Sheridan Media reporter Ron Richter received two awards – second place Best News Reporter on KROE and second place best news talk on KWYO.

Sheridan Media’s Tommy & Bell morning show on KYTI FM took first-place honors as the Best Radio Show.

Sheridan Media’s station KYTI took first Best Station Promo with a Trees for Trash promo, and second place in that category went to Sheridan Media’s KZWY FM for JC Superstar.

KZWY also took second place in the Best Single Commercial category with a commercial for the WYO Film Festival.

SheridanMedia.com took second place in the Best Use of Digital Media category.
