Ignite Conference 2025 is heating up

Coordinated by the Chamber’s Business Retention & Expansion Committee, the Ignite Conference is turning 10 years old this year and will once again focus on professional development for business owners in Sheridan and Johnson County.
Chief Executive Officer of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Teresa Detimore and Member Relations Director Bobbi Mitzel said this year will also include the “executive track” training that debuted last year. Executive track is a set of optional sessions developed to teach tips and techniques on leadership development and operating a small business.
Detimore said instructors come from all over the professional sector, sharing the tips and techniques that worked for them over the course of successful careers.

The Ignite Conference was initially developed to offer local business owners and their employees training, learning and networking opportunities without the need to travel. The seminars are developed with Sheridan businesses’ needs in mind.
Mitzel said the needs and concerns of local businesses are an aspect of her duties at the Chamber as Member Relations Director.
