Buffalo Council Passes City Code Ordinance Second Reading

The Buffalo City Council approved on second reading Ordinance No. 1423, which will amend city code concerning building codes.

Building Inspector Terry Asay suggested changes to the Ordinance prior to the second reading.

During public comment, one contractor had questions about the changes, and a city resident said the council’s proceedings were out of order and should not pass the reading but start the process over again.

The council then passed Ordinance No. 1423 on second reading with the proposed changes from the building inspector.

There will need to be a third reading before the Ordinance takes effect.
