Jo Co Commission Approves 1% Fund Requests

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved the list of requests for One-Percent Funding for this fiscal year.
According to information released by Commissioner Bill Novotny, nearly $1.035 million has been allotted to various entities by the county commissioners.
Awards included just over $92,000 to the Powder River Fire District for fire gear; $50,000 to the Buffalo-Johnson County Recycling Center for operational costs; $60,000 to JOCO First for operating costs and improvements; nearly $157,000 for the Sheriff’s Office for two new vehicles, and $100,000 for Johnson County Road & Bridge for the replacement of a road grader.
Other entities receiving funding were the Johnson County Fairgrounds, Harold Jarrard Park, and the Johnson County Library.

I thought voters had wisely Liberated themselves from that awful one-percent tax burden.
Or is this just left-over loot from previous theft?
