Jo Co Commission Approves Chesterman as Deputy Coroner

Johnson County’s Commissioners, at their recent regular meeting, approved the appointment of a deputy county coroner.

County Coroner Shawn Sullivan came before the commission to ask for their approval to appoint Traci Chesterman as the deputy coroner.

Sullivan said Chesterman has completed the necessary training required to be a coroner, completed and passed a background check, and “every other hoop” she needed to jump through to qualify.

The commission, after discussion, voted to approve her appointment as deputy coroner.
