Scott Named to Historic Preservation Commission

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have appointed Emerson Scott to the Sheridan County Historic Preservation Commission, to fill an unexpired term through June 30 of this year.

The appointment was made during the regular commission meeting Tuesday morning.

Commissioner Holly Jennings spoke in favor of appointing Scott to the commission.

According to Commissioner Nick Siddle, two candidates applied for the position, Scott and Carrie Edinger, and were interviewed the previous week.

He said both candidates were highly qualified for the position.
