Buffalo Main Street Project Gets Underway Monday

Year two of the Buffalo Main Street Reconstruction Project will begin Monday, March 3 in the downtown corridor.
At a public meeting Thursday in Buffalo, Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) Public Relations Specialist Laura Dalles gave details on the scope of the project, saying traffic control will be in place as of Monday morning.
The east side on Main Street from Fetterman to about the Main Street Diner will be closed to traffic with all traffic traveling two-way head-to-head on the west side of Main Street from just north of City Hall south to Fetterman Street.
Access to side streets will be maintained and sidewalks will be open except for isolated repair work.
Parking will be limited downtown and no parking will be allowed in the work zone.
Work in the area will be conducted Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Public meetings on the project will begin the week of March 17, with times and locations to be announced.
Questions, comments or concerns can be addressed to WYDOT Public Relations Specialist Laura Dalles at (307) 752-3022 or laura.dalles@wyo.gov.
