Jo Co Commission Makes Board Appointments

During their regular meeting this week, the Johnson County Commission voted to approve the appointments to two county boards.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny explained who was up for the appointments.

The commission approved both Dennis Hepp and Nathan Williams.

According to discussion at the meeting, the county has only one other board vacancy currently, which is on the Johnson County Tourism Association Board, which the county is advertising in the hope to fill that position soon.

Two positions on the Lake DeSmet Advisory Board will become open in April, according to Commissioner’s Assistant Kristen Kenyon.
