Ron RichterA resolution adopting the Sheridan Fire Rescue Long Range Master Plan was an item of discussion at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council study session. Fire Chief Gary Harnish addressed the governing body about the master plan.
Harnish said the master plan is divided into short term; up to six months, midterm; one to three years, and long term goals, three to five years. He said the short and midterm goals can be achieved and handled within the department and will not require budgetary support from the City Council.
Harnish added that the long term goals will require support from the administration, mayor and council. The resolution to adopt the Sheridan Fire Rescue Long Range Master Plan will be considered by the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
