During their regular meeting Tuesday, the Sheridan County Commission took time to recognize and thank Commissioner Tom Ringley for his years of service on the board.

Chairman Nick Siddle spoke, saying this was Ringley’s last meeting as a commissioner.

Michael R. Arzy was elected in November to replace Ringley, who chose not to run again in this year’s election.

Commissioner Lonnie Wright was retained to his seat on the commission.

And since increasing to 5 commissioners in 2008, that’s the ONLY way an incumbent leaves office…..By his choosing.
For the last 16 yrs. all incumbents choosing to run for re-election, have been re-elected.
Sheridan County now has Permanent county commissioners.
One elected, you can stay as long as you choose!
Having more than one seat and more than one vote-per-voter, Guarantees all Incumbents are re-elected.
And this commissioner, like all previous ones, never meet a new tax or tax hike he didn’t like.
