While appearing on Sheridan Meida’s Public pulse, Sheridan City Administrator Stuart McRae spoke on the City’s Snow and Ice Control Plan.

Due to the long curing process required by the concrete, the City is asking downtown businesses to avoid salt or chemical de-icers on Main Street sidewalks this winter.

Snow emergencies within the city may be declared during severe weather, City Hall will then send notifications sent via the Everbridge application.

Volunteers are available to assist Sheridan’s seniors and disabled residents with snow removal. Those who may need assistance this year can contact Marcie Morrow at The HUB at (307) 672-2240 ext. 134. To request snow removal help, contact the City Service Center at (307) 674-4112, this is the same number to contact for plowing issues such as the berms in driveways.
