JCSD1 Board Welcomes New Members, Elects Officers

The Johnson County School Board welcomed their new members and voted in their officers for the coming year during their regular meeting for December Monday night.

Attending their first meeting were Daniel Escoz, Benito Maya, Reed Davidson, and McKenzi Wright.

After discussion, the board voted to retain Chairman Travis Pearson in that position, approved Lynette Fox as vice-chairman, and also retained Marcia Goddard as as clerk, and Casey Rodriguez as treasurer.

Later in the meeting the board approved members to serve on their committees.

BOCES Committee: Craig Anderson, Benito Maya as substitute.

BOCHES Committee: Dave Belus, McKenzi Wright.

Recreation Board: Marcia Goddard.

Salary & Benefits Committee: Casey Rodriguez, Lynnette Fox, Daniel Escoz.

Joint Powers Fuel Board Committee: Belus.

BHS Development Fund Committee: Travis Pearson.

District Advisory Committee: Fox, Goddard.

Policy Committee: Rodriguez, Pearson, Reed Davidson.

Cell Phone Protocol Committee: Fox, Goddard, Wright.
