The Quintanas rang in 2024 with a 1920s themed New Years Gala and 100% of the benefits from ticket sales went to support the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter.
The gala raised over $17,000 for the shelter in unrestricted funds, meaning the team could apply those funds to anything that the animals may require.
Last year’s gala was such a successful venture that Katusha and Julio Quintana decided they would like to hold another one welcoming in the year 2025.
The Quintanas and Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter board president Jen Shassetz and Executive Director AJ Evans made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to invite the community to the 2025 New Year’s Eve Gala with all benefits again going to the shelter.
This year, the theme is headed under the big top as the Quintanas transform their ballroom into a circus. Guests are encouraged to dress in circus attire and dine on food provided by Judy Fuller while being entertained by not one but two bands; Jeanie Lee & The Reckoning and the nine piece band, The Soul Funk Collective.
Julio Quintana explained that the inspiration for the gala came from his wife, Katusha.

Last year’s gala came with many happy surprises and entertainment that lasted well into the night and the new year. This year, with a circus theme, Quintana said the night will be well worth the ticket price with all proceeds going to help the shelter.
