Secretary Gray Taking Action to Stop Non-Citizens from Voting in Wyoming Elections

Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray communicated to Wyoming’s 23 county clerks requesting they report any elector who is prevented from voting by virtue of their status as a non-citizen.
According to the Secretary of State’s Office, Wyoming law provides that a non-citizen who votes or attempts to vote is guilty of false voting, which can subject an offender to jail time. Falsely claiming to be a United States citizen on a voter registration form is a felony under Wyoming law.
