Jo Co Commission to Discuss Hazelton Parking Area Contract

During their regular meeting Tuesday, the Johnson County Commission is scheduled to get an update from Heath Steel, Executive Vice President with Volunteers of America on providing mental health services for the county.

Also on the agenda is the review a contract between the county and the US Forest Service, Bighorn National Forest, on a parking area on Hazelton Road; consideration of a Resolution on Operation Green Light for Veterans; a renewal of a contract for the county’s map server; discussion on the Ashes to Table community dinner; and the appointment of outside counsel for the county attorney’s office.

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday in Commission Chambers on the second floor of the Historic Johnson County Courthouse.
