The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) Buffalo Main Street Project is nearing the point where they will be shutting down for this work season, before picking the project back up in the spring of 2025.

According to the latest from WYDOT Senior Information Specialist with District 4 Laura Dalles, they have completed paving of the main line and off-ramp and plan to re-stripe on Monday, October 14 (today).

Traffic control is expected to be removed by the end of the day. Reflective tabs will be in place indicating travel lanes until the striping is complete.

There are a few punch list items that will be addressed throughout the project areas, so motorists are asked to keep an eye out for any contractors completing those tasks.

WYDOT’s contractor on the project will be finalizing the scope and schedule for the work to be completed next year in time for the public meeting to be held on October 28th at the Johnson County Fire Hall at 790 Volunteer Lane beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Questions or concerns can be addressed to Laura Dalles, Senior Public Relations Specialist with WYDOT District 4 in Sheridan, her contact information is posted here:
