Marsh Elected UW Trustee Board Chairman

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees recently elected Torrington businessman Jeff Marsh as their new Chairman. According to a release, Marsh will take on the role from current Chairman Dave True of Casper in May. Marsh has been on the board since 2011 when then Governor Matt Mead appointed him and has served in the past as Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Other officers recently selected include John McKinley of Cheyenne as Vice President, Kermit Brown of Laramie as Treasurer, and Michelle Sullivan of Sheridan as Secretary. The University has 12 Trustees that are appointed to 6 year staggered terms by Wyoming’s Governor. Their responsibilities include major policy and budgetary decisions that affect the institution.
