Sheridan Commission Addresses Elections Issues

Sheridan County’s Commissioners discussed and adopted various resolutions concerning election issues for the coming election season.

The board passed a resolution allowing candidates to file election reports electronically, in addition to mailing and hand-delivering them to the courthouse.

Although no action by the commission was required, a public hearing was held concerning the proposed change in location of the polling place from Arvada Community Center to Clearmont (Arvada) Fire Hall.

Finally, the commission adopted a resolution setting the county’s 2020 Election Districts and Precincts for the Primary and General Elections.

The resolution included the changes in the Arvada Polling Place as well as the change for filing election reports electronically.
