JCHC Clinic Makes Changes in Response to Corona Virus

The clinic at the Johnson County Healthcare Center has enacted a number of changes due to the corona virus pandemic.

Family Medical Clinic Director Crystal Smith said in a recent briefing with local media there have been a lot of changes made during the last month, mainly focusing on COVID-19 patients and keeping the community healthy.

She explains further.

Telehealth has also been implemented and stressed for those patients they still need to take care of but don’t necessarily need to see a doctor.

She also discussed masks and mask hygiene.

Smith said people need to make sure they wash their masks every couple of days so they are getting the best use of and best protection from them.
