As Wyomingites face growing concerns regarding the economy, inflation, and jobs creation, Governor Mark Gordon will hold a town hall meeting in Sheridan later this month to hear from community members. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Governor Gordon will moderate a panel of education, industry, and private sector leaders who will discuss protection of Wyoming’s core industries, workforce development, and how to better coordinate Wyoming’s economic development needs with the state’s educational system. Governor Gordon will be joined by local K-12 and higher education leaders, as well as representatives from the private sector for the Town Hall.

Gordon said the Town Hall is an opportunity to share hopeful information regarding the all-out efforts by state, local, and industry leaders and citizens to protect the Wyoming way of life by continuing to grow our economy and that he looks forward to hearing from community members to learn of any stones they may have left unturned.

The Town Hall will take place Tuesday, July 23 from 1 to 3 pm at the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College.
