4th and Val Vista Rezone

A request to rezone property on Val Vista Street in Sheridan was an item of consideration at this weeks’ Sheridan City Council meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Second reading of an ordinance that allows for the rezone of property at 4th Street and Val Vista Street in Sheridan was approved by the Sheridan City Council. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer with the details of the rezone request.

Mercer said the properties to the north, east and west are commercial properties zoned R-3 and the properties to the south are zoned B-2. The ordinance must be approved one more time by the City Council before the rezone takes effect.
