Sheridan Commission to Consider Contract with PHO Dr. Widener

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, during their regular meeting Tuesday, with consider the annual contract between the county and Sheridan County Public Health Officer Dr. Benjamin Widener.

Also up for consideration are Conditional Use Permits (CUP) for the Rice Fiber Hub, the Sheeley Hot Mix Plant, and Powers Lodge.

A Preliminary Plat will be discussed on Sunset Ridge Estates, and consideration of the Greig Re-zone request.

The commission will also discuss 1% General Purpose Excise Tax (GPET) Funding requests from Goose Creek Transit, Science Kids, Doubleday Sports Complex, Bradford Brinton Museum, and Phorge Makerspace.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Boardroom, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
