Johnson County COVID-19 Cases Now at Nine

The Johnson County Healthcare Center and the county’s COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center held a joint briefing Thursday afternoon, replacing the previously scheduled briefing for Friday morning.
In the briefing, JCHC CEO Sean McCallister confirmed that Johnson County now has nine positive cases of COVID-19.
McCallister said the county now has its first confirmed positive inpatient at the facility as of Thursday morning.
Wednesday they tested and admitted an additional patient whose test results are still pending.
JCHC on Wednesday screened and evaluated six people, with four tested for the virus.
So far they have tested 32 people in the county.
Wyoming has, as of Thursday afternoon, 230 confirmed cases, and 73 “probable” cases of COVID-19.
Probable cases were explained as a total count of those who are a close contact to a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 case and who have developed symptoms but are not tested.
The numbers include probable cases that have recovered.
We will have more from the briefing in upcoming stories.
