Ron RichterThe purchase and installation of an all-inclusive playground at Black Tooth Park in Sheridan is an item that the Sheridan City Council will be considering at their regular business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger said the all-inclusive playground is for all ages and abilities.
Staff is recommending the Council approve the purchase and installation of an all-inclusive playground from Star Playgrounds, through Sourcewell cooperative bidding process, in the amount of $1,036,384. The Council will also be considering third and final reading of an ordinance to change the start time of the regular meetings from 7 pm to 5:30 pm. Mayor Bridger said if the ordinance is adopted on final reading, they will begin the new start time in June.
Other business will include consideration of a contract with the International Association of Firefighters Local Union # 276 and a resolution authorizing submission of a Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant. The City Council meeting will take place at 7 pm Monday in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
