Aaron PalmerThe recent euthanization of a young, male grizzly near Tensleep has apparently prompted the Johnson County Commission to give their opinion on the possibility of having more of them in the Bighorn Mountains.
Chairman Bill Novotny made a request of the rest of the commission at their last regular meeting.
Novotny also asked permission to draft a letter to be circulated to the four member counties of the Bighorn Mountain Coalition opposing grizzlies in the Bighorns.
The commission voted to approve Novotny’s requests.
