Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County Commission, during their regular meeting Tuesday, approved an extension of the closure of the county courthouse to the public that was approved last month.
The passed resolution will extend the closure through April 30th.
After the meeting, the county sent out a release explaining the closure in full. Which we have provided below.
To safeguard the community and employees, the Sheridan County Courthouse will be closed to public access through Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 5pm, following Governor Gordon’s statewide orders.
The court system will remain open with limited access.
We encourage the public to utilize the mail, email, phone, or on-line services to conduct business.
In addition, the Sheridan County Courthouse will be fully closed for a long Easter weekend, all day Friday, April 10th through Monday, April 13th.
