Council to Consider Bar and Grill License Application and GPET Funding Allocations

An application for a bar and grill license for Wyoming Horse Racing LLC, dba the Horse Palace, was tabled by the Sheridan City Council at their February 19 business meeting. Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska presented statistics regarding calls for service at pari-mutuel betting businesses in Sheridan.

The City Council is expected to consider the bar and grill license application at their regular business meeting Monday night. The Council will also be considering General Purpose Excise Tax allocations for fiscal year 2025 and third and final reading of Ordinance 2279, adoption of the 2023 National Electrical Code. The Council meeting is scheduled for 7 pm Monday in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
