Ron RichterDespite the chilly temperatures, the 28th annual Christmas Stroll in Sheridan on November 24 was once again a tremendous success according to Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce CEO Dixie Johnson. During a recent community update to the Sheridan City Council, Johnson said the event was created primarily to encourage people to do business locally during the holiday season and beyond and this year’s Stroll brought thousands of shoppers downtown.
Johnson also talked about Chamber Bucks and said the Chamber maintains a separate account for Chamber Bucks.
Johnson said the $160,000 in Chamber Bucks issued to date is a 33 percent increase from the same time last year. We’ll hear more from Johnson’s update to the Council in a future story.
