Ron RichterAn agreement with SAGE for executive director services for the Sheridan Public Arts Committee was approved by the Sheridan City Council at their regular business meeting this week. City Clerk Cecilia Good explains the newly modified agreement that was adopted.
The agreement passed by a vote of 5 to 2, with Councilors Andrew Patceg and Kristen Jennings voting against the contract. Councilor Jennings addressed the Council prior to the vote.
Councilman Greg Luhman said the arts in Sheridan are a benefit to the community.
According to information from the City of Sheridan, the updated contract between SAGE and the Sheridan Public Arts Committee was crafted to address evolving responsibilities and financial considerations associated with the collaboration.
