Public meeting regarding three chapters of regulations taking place Nov. 7. 

A public meeting, seeking input from the public regarding changes to three chapters of Wyoming Game and Fish Department regulations, will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Sheridan Game and Fish Regional Office. 

The regulations in question are 

Chapter 3, Black Bear Hunting Seasons

Chapter 30, Regulation Governing Fur Dealers

Chapter 61, Collection of Shed Antlers and Horns 

Game and Fish is hosting eight public meetings about the regulation proposals.

To prepare, copies of the proposed regulation changes are available on the department website by clicking here. Hard copies are available through the address above in accordance with Chapter 1 Regulation Governing Access to Public Records.

For interested parties who cannot attend the meeting, or those who do not wish to speak at the meeting, written comments shall be accepted through 5 p.m. Dec. 4, at the above public meeting or by mailing: Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Regulations, 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604 or online.

Those written comments shall be presented to the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission prior to its January 2024 meeting in Cheyenne.
