Snow Route Ordinance Received Second Reading Approval

The Sheridan City Council at their business meeting Tuesday night, considered an ordinance that amends current code pertaining to parking on emergency snow routes in the City. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Ordinance 2270, which amends the City’s current ordinance 16-25 that prohibits parking on emergency snow routes during a snow event, was approved by the City Council on second reading. City Attorney Brendon Kerns.
Kerns said the current system is inefficient and ordinance 2270 fixes that inefficiency. The ordinance must be approved one more time by the City Council before it takes effect.
