Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council at their upcoming regularly scheduled business meeting Tuesday night will be considering a resolution authorizing City staff to initiate the process of annexing six specific properties into the City’s boundary. The annexations are being requested by Sheridan County because the properties require special ballots as a result of being located within or nearly completely surrounded by the City corporate boundary. Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger says the only way to fix the issue is to annex the properties.
The Council will also be considering a fuel contract with the Hub on Smith.
The Council will also consider second reading of ordinance 2270, which amends current code pertaining to parking on snow routes during a snow alert. The City Council will meet Tuesday night at 7 in Council Chambers on the third floor of Sheridan City Hall.
