Ron RichterThe City of Sheridan will host a public meeting at noon on Thursday, September 14th at 12:15PM in Council Chambers of the third floor of Sheridan City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to allow residents to review and comment on the Sheridan Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades Project. According to information from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, the City, at the meeting, will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at the City’s engineering department.
Based on current cost estimates, the City of Sheridan plans to borrow $7.8 million from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. No increased user fees are anticipated to repay the loan. Written comments can also be submitted to the City as well.
