Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 12, 1920.

Farmers and ranchers from all parts of the county are expected to attend the organization of the county-wide farm bureau at the Congregational church in Sheridan tomorrow.

The return of railroads to private ownership, together with the merger of the mines in the Sheridan field under control of the Peabody Coal company, has stirred rumors that another railroad will be built in Sheridan County.

A locating party of 10 men is expected to leave Clearmont within the next two days to establish a camp on Spotted Horse creek in Campbell county for the purpose of locating the state highway between that point and Arvada.
