The sales organization of the Peabody Coal company, of which the Sheridan-Wyoming coal company is a subsidiary, is undertaking an aggressive sales campaign which will widely extend the trade radius of the Sheridan field.
Sherman Welton has purchased the residence of J. U. Stout on East Works street for a consideration of $4,000.
William Steels, a brakeman residing on East Fourth street, had his left leg broken while engaged in switching cars at Toluca, Montana, yesterday afternoon. He was brought to Sheridan on No. 41 last night.
