Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council met for their regularly scheduled business meeting Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
A bid award to Hot Iron, Inc. in the amount of $1.77 million for the Terra Turner Waterline Replacement Project was unanimously approved by the Council. Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue Executive Director Rachel Kristiansen provided an update on the nonprofit organization and Sheridan Police Chief Travis Koltiska updated the Council and Mayor Rich Bridger on the activity during all of the concerts that occurred downtown for the rodeo.
The City Council also gave second reading approval of an ordinance for a franchise agreement with Visionary Broadband. The ordinance must be approved one more time before the agreement takes effect.
