Local Nonprofits Benefit From Wyoming Community Foundation Grants

A number of nonprofit agencies in Sheridan and Johnson Counties recently received grant funding from the Wyoming Community Foundation. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

A total of 9 nonprofit programs in Sheridan and Johnson Counties were awarded grants as part of the Wyoming Community Foundation’s competitive grant cycle, which allows nonprofits from around the state to apply for funding for important projects and general funding. Hall said the next competitive grant application deadline is in September and those interested in applying can do so online.

In 2022, the Wyoming Community Foundation granted over $8 million to charitable causes throughout the state. More information, including the grant application process, can be found here.
