Main Street Construction Puts Bed Races on Hold

Sheridan Media announced today that the Beds Along the Big Horns Bed Races will not be held this year due to safety concerns for participants and spectators on Brooks Street, the temporary route of the WYO Rodeo Parade.

Following a thorough evaluation of the Brooks Street area and consultation with local authorities, it was concluded that the street isn’t wide enough to ensure the safety of all involved. The ongoing construction in the Main Street area further limits alternative routes for the event.

Sheridan Media remains committed to our mission of providing a fun and enjoyable Rodeo Friday event for the community. We will continue to produce the live streaming video and radio broadcast again this year, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the festivities no matter where they live.
