Kerns said if the City Council elects to help defray the costs of fire prevention for downtown businesses, it would come before the governing body in the form of a resolution. It was decided at the study session that staff will continue to work out the details of the proposed program and possibly bring a resolution forward for the Council’s consideration at a future meeting.
