Sheridan Commission OK’s Haz Mat Emergency Planning Grant

Sheridan County’s Commissioners reviewed an agreement between the county and and the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security for the 2022 Hazardous Materials Emergency Planning Grant, at the request of County Emergency Management Coordinator Jesse Ludikhuize.

Ludikhuize explained how the grant funding will be used.

The amount of the grant funding is $5,500 from the federal government, coupled with a local in-kind match of $1,375.

According to the agreement, the funding must be used in the exercise before September 30, 2025.
