Fulmer Library inner circle remodel project

The Sheridan County Library System Board of Trustees will review bids submitted on Jan. 26, for a long awaited remodel of the Fulmer Library’s inner circle.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan County Library System Director Cameron Duff told listeners the project has been delayed a total of approximately nine months.
Although plans were prepared and funding was secured, the project was delayed due to the heavy workload of contractors in the Sheridan area who were recovering from other delays in the construction industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain issues.
Bids for the contrat were due on Jan. 26. The board of trustees will now review the bids submitted and if all goes well during the process, the project could be awarded during the next meeting on Feb. 2.
The project includes remodeling the inner circle, the children’s area, updating security and fire systems and the installation of a Hearing Loop.
