Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 21, 1920.
The program was announced today for the memorial services for the American Legion to be held at the Episcopal church at 5 o’clock next Sunday.
Central school and the Christian Science church were pillaged last night, presumably by vandals. Nothing of value was secured at the school, but all the desks and shelves were systematically ransacked.
Fifty telephones are out of commission today due to cable trouble. The telephones are in the business district on the east side of Main between Brundage and Burkitt streets.
The tremendous Hawaiian waltz hit, Hawaiian Smiles, played by the Happy Six Orchestra, is 85 cents at A.L. Cummings Music Company.
