Aaron PalmerThe annual WYO Rodeo Sneakers & Spurs 5K Race was held Friday, and over 400 runners participated.
The overall winner of the race was Al Spotted, who will be a senior at Tongue River High School this fall.
His time was 17 minutes, seven seconds.
He spoke with Sheridan Media afterwards, and talked about the race.
Spotted said he would tell people that are considering running the race to do it, because it is fun, the environment is great, and everyone is welcoming and cheer you on regardless of whether they know you or not.
The women’s winner was Tanya Kienlen with a time of 20 minutes, 36 seconds, good enough for 11th place overall.
