  • The Northern Wyoming Walleyes Unlimited  Scholarship application deadline has been moved from April 1st to May 1st.
  • Big Horn National Forest. All new ignitions for prescribed fire have been postponed until further notice.
  • The 7th annual Sheridan Career Fair, planned for April 29 at the Sheridan College Golden Dome, has been postponed. Job seekers and employers who were planning to attend are urged to visit Wyoming at Work for job openings and to review qualifications and duties for various positions
  • The Sheridan Speedway has cancelled all April races.
  • Kalif Shrine Oasis Bar will be closed until further notice, Kalif Shrine Recorder will be in office, but will meet by appointment only as the Shrine Building is Closed as well.
  • Bread of Life Food Pantry in Buffalo has changed it’s hours to Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 5PM-7PM
  • The annual Snickers Big Horn Soccer Cup Tournament, scheduled for May 9-10, has been canceled.
  • The Centennial Theater will be closed until further notice.
  • Ucross has announced a temporary closure.  The Ucross Art Gallery will also be closed to the public during this time and public meetings and events are also being postponed.
  • The GSMW Cookie Program is SUSPENDED. All direct contact delivery and direct sale of cookies should stop immediately. Dates regarding the Cookie Program will be evaluated and adjusted as we move forward. 
  • VOA- Sheridan, WY Empty Bowl Event has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2020. 
  • Goose Creek Transit has suspended service on the fixed-route bus. In order to protect our drivers and the public in general, our door to door service will now become a delivery service only with very limited exceptions.
  • The Sheridan County Museum has suspended Conversations in History and Tidbit Activity Series until further notice.
  • The Local Foods Marketing Workshop that was scheduled for March 19 at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library has been postponed until May 7, 5 pm, Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library. 
  • Sheridan Community Land Trust’s April in Bloom has been postponed to a later date.
  • Sheridan Fire & Rescue has canceled it’s CPR and first aid training classes.
  • The Children’s Center will be closed until further notice.
  • The Wyoming FFA has canceled the 2020 Wyoming FFA Convention, scheduled to be held April 15-18, in Cheyenne.
  • The Hub on Smith has closed their on-site meals program (i.e. breakfast and lunch), exercise, social activities, and the Day Break, Adult Day Center.
