Sheridan College Symphony Orchestra to perform Dec. 11
The Sheridan College Symphony Orchestra will perform Monuments to Inspiration, beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, in Kinnison Hall in the Whitney Center for the Arts.
Sheridan College of the Arts Director of Strings Dr. Mark Elliot Bergman will direct this performance.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Bergman told listeners what to expect during this performance of classical music.
The symphony was arranged by Sheridan College Coordinator, Music and Music Technology Dr. Chris Erickson.
Special guest Dr. Brooks Hafey, from Chadron State College will perform a piano solo while also accompanying the orchestra.
This concert is free and open to the public.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, the College of the Arts will present a variety of chamber music featuring many artists and vocals by Sheridan College Director of Choirs and Vocal Studies Dr. Rob Psurny.
