Aaron PalmerBuffalo residents, in spite of cool temperatures and gusty winds, turned out to honor veterans on Veterans Day.
There was a brief ceremony at the Veterans Memorial on Main Street before moving to the American Legion Hall for the remainder of the activities.
Local Boy Scout Troop #415 performed the Flag Ceremony and Doug Brothers, Commander with the VFW Post #2469 in Buffalo, gave this year’s address.
After his address, Brothers spoke on the importance of the younger generation honoring our veterans.
He finished by saying, “It almost brings a tear to my eye, or darn near it.”
